We Don't Belong

WE DON'T BELONG

The reason I acted

that way to you

is because you've been treating

me like that too.

I thought I really liked you

I guess I was wrong

you and I

just don't belong.

I'm usually not a quitter

when I want someone bad

I just hold things inside

until I get really sad.

You're the someone I want

to be my only love

and soar through each other

like the wings of a dove.

So if you want us enemies

that's fine with me

if you want us friends

that's what we'll be.
