Whatever It Was
WHATEVER IT WAS
Your smile made me happy
it blew me away
but I stood there like a dunce
not knowing what to say.
I had no idea
on earth I should do
so I turned and walked
away from you.
Maybe I was right
maybe I was wrong
whatever it was
didn't last very long.
