WHY

I try to act

strong and tough

but being friends

is not enough.

I want for him

to make us more

but being his girl

he tries to ignore.

I cannot take this

any longer

I'm growing weak 

instead of stronger.

The more I want

the more I try

I have to ask

one question - why?

He doesn't know

the way I feel

and I haven't the courage 

to tell him it's real.

I'm holding this note

in my hand

reading it to him

so he'll understand.

This poem maybe

will make him see

I want him only

just for me.
