Long Lasting Friendship

So I hear

you're leaving me

and you don't know

where you'll be.

It won't seem right

when you're gone

we've been friends

for so long.

Will you write

and keep in touch

I know I'll miss you

very much.

Friday night

we split apart

our friendship died

in my heart.

I know you won't write

and you'll just forget

all about me

and the day we met.
