YOU ARE GONE
We were friends
for so long
just like that
it was gone.
Nothing more
for us to say
and forever
slipped away.
I thought I knew
you so well
my best friend
but couldn't tell.
That everything
soon would fade
with every promise
that we made.
I don't know what
made it die
you shut me out
I don't know why.
I got my things
and shut the door
for you and yours
forever more.
