INSIDE

There is another side to me

a side I never show

a side that's hidden well from you

a side you'll never see.

This is a side I only know

a side that's shown to few

a side that suffers from the hurt

the side I can't let go.

The side I show is hurting too

the one I don't, must hide

its cover though hides it well

it can't be seen by you.

There's not a person I confide

not one I'll ever tell

not one that I'll let in

to see the hurt inside.
